What will it fund? Projects that provide practical and imaginative ways to meet the needs of unaccompanied young people, especially at the key transition ages of 16 and 18. This might involve enabling refugee community organisations to work in partnership with other organisations to bring arts and learning to young people, or projects that draw attention to the need to involve refugee young people in the mainstream life of the community. Projects will need to be limited to three years and show strong evidence of consultation and involvement of young people.
Who can apply? Refugee groups working in partnership with other voluntary or statutory organisations including schools. Note that no work that is a statutory responsibility will be funded.
