How did you get into it? Boxing is my background. I started off doing Thai boxing and was the World Professional Kickboxing League women's title holder. It took me all around the world and I wanted to give young people that opportunity. I had been training as a stunt woman before taking up a role at Kickstart youth inclusion programme but there was a job at London Active Communities and it was an ideal position.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Seeing the young people develop. It's great when you have a child who showed no interest or had an attitude at the beginning, then you see them focus when something comes together and they realise they're good at it. Their world opens up because they have seen there is something else out there for them.
