How did you get into this? I've been working in youth-led volunteering since I was 14. I did it for 10 years, then I worked as a youth participation worker for a couple of years at the Youth Action Network. From there, I moved on to Mid Bedfordshire District Council, developing youth-led activities.

What do you get out of it? Young people are committed and so enthusiastic. We're often challenged by people who say "no" all the time, but with young people it's always "yes". It's very inspiring. I've been working with a group of young people for eight months and it's fantastic because you can see them developing and becoming more confident in different skills.
