The Think Research online resource, released tomorrow (19 June), is designed to help practitioners take advantage of the research and statistics available on particular services. It also has a glossary of research terms and links to websites where studies can be found.
Phil Hope, the social exclusion minister, said: "Think Research is a valuable tool that will encourage commissioners to use the research evidence available whenever they commission a service. It will lead to more effective services, greater transparency in the commissioning process, better use of public money and transform the lives of the most vulnerable people in our society."
- The guidance will be available from 19 June at www.cypnow.co.uk/doc.
