Recruitment: National Youth Agency chief executive to step down

1 min read

Wylie informed staff of his decision in an email last week, stating that he plans to step down in early summer.

The NYA will advertise the position in the new year. The organisations 18-strong board, chaired by Roger Sainsbury, will make the appointment.

Director of policy and development Viv McKee, and Wylies deputy for the past three years, is a strong candidate to succeed him and the frontrunner at this stage.

Wylie does not have another role lined up. He told Young People Now he had been thinking about stepping down for some time, adding: I still have a contribution to make to working with young people in the country.
