Brentwood will become Hollywood on 29 April when the short film We Can Be Heroes gets its premiere. The film is the result of a project run by Brentwood Borough Council to give local young people an alternative to antisocial behaviour.
Professionals from Shepperton Studios spent three days in February teaching 12- to 15-year-olds from Brentwood how to perform stunts safely. The 16 young people, who shot and starred in their own film, were all referred by teachers concerned with their behaviour.
