Project launched in Gloucestershire for ideas to tackle climate change

An international project to get young people coming up with ideas for projects or campaigns to tackle climate change has launched in Gloucestershire.

The InterClimate Network will work with 16- to 19-year-olds in the county as well as in Kenya and India to help them understand the problem and develop ideas to help tackle it.

The not-for-profit company's initiative is being bankrolled by a £1m grant from Barclays. The pilot project in Gloucestershire will continue until June 2009.
