The 13- and 14-year-olds are the UK representatives in Junior 8, a 10-day gathering of 64 young people aged 13 to 17 drawn from each G8 nation, in Pushkin.
The event is jointly hosted by the Russian government and the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef).
James Goodall, 13, said: "This is an opportunity for world leaders to find out how young people really think."
