It is quite pathetic that this programme was made by a journalist. It's also pathetic that educated adults can create such disgraceful stereotypes in society.
The only reason people notice the one or two per cent of young people who do get drunk and intimidate people is that you can't notice the vast majority of young people who aren't doing that - there's nothing to see.
We don't go around saying: "We don't drink."
We are not some sort of different species; we are people who have brains.
For Malone to say we are all yobs is disappointing. The programme also implied that it is only young people who perpetrate antisocial behaviour, but I have been intimidated by people older than me.
