Policy & Practice: Numbers game - Cooking

Findings of a survey of 1,153 eight- to 15-year-olds

Maura Gillespie, head of policy at the foundation, says: "The survey was a worrying surprise. We believe that making the Government provide more resources to educate children in cooking will make a big difference. We will lobby the Government until basic life-skills, such as cooking, are a compulsory part of the curriculum."
