Haven't we had one of these already? The first-stage report covered the period up to January 2004. This was the first three months of the trailblazers - the 10 authorities developing and testing information, referral and tracking (IRT) projects to create new ways of information sharing and multi-agency working to protect vulnerable young people. This report covers February to August 2004.

And have we got it all sorted yet?

No. The report is full of caveats about it being too early to tell whether real changes in working patterns are taking place. But it is seen as important to look at the lessons emerging.
