The forum is open to London Play member organisations such as play associations, voluntary sector groups and local authorities, but hopes to link with other groups working with children and young people.
London Play director Dr Ute Navidi said: "It won't just be a talking shop as we will be considering practical ways of making play opportunities available to all children."
