The event was at the city's Rosewood Nursery, which caters for thechildren of NHS staff. Children were asked to draw pictures to show whatthey would like from children's professionals and got to play with agiant gingerbread man in a game that helped the council gather theirviews on children's services. The event was the first of fourconsultations with children and young people. The final one takes placethis Saturday (8 April). The results of the events will be compiled intoan internal report, which the council will use to inform its work. Someof the art work produced by children at the events will be displayed atthe council's offices in Leeds.
