Peterborough creates legal graffiti site

Youth Work
Peterborough City Council has opened a graffiti site where young people can practise their art without fear of being arrested.

The Blue Mobile site is located in the Welland area and will be managed by the Greater Dogsthorpe Partnership in conjunction with the council and the local police. The council hopes the site will lead to a fall in the levels of illegal graffiti art across the city. Similar sites will be set up in other parts of the city if the scheme proves successful.
