Outreach Work: Hackney outreach workers in PR blitz

Outreach workers from Hackney Youth Service have been hitting the streets to promote the activities on offer to young people in the borough.

Young people have been given information about sports activities, youth clubs, training opportunities, community and faith organisations and other programmes. Workers also handed out copies of the What's On in Hackney magazine.

Councillor Rita Krishna, cabinet member for children and young people, said: "There are many different opportunities for young people to make new friends and learn new things."
