Opinion: If I were in charge of my own business - Eve Travis, 11,Doncaster, South Yorkshire

1 min read
I would like to own my own beauty salon. I would call it Eve's. After I leave school, I would like to go to college and train in make-up and beauty, but I might do something else too. I would have a hairdressing part of the salon, but I would have someone else to cut hair for me. I would like to do make-up and hair for weddings.

Before I own the salon, I will work in one to get experience. I wouldopen it in the Frenchgate shopping centre in Doncaster because it isbusy there. I would like a job and a business that would keep me busy. Iwould have about six or seven staff and I would treat them well. Theywould get good pay and I wouldn't make them work too much. If they felttired or had something planned, I would let them have a day off. But Iwould want to be in charge. I would always do the work myself toobecause I enjoy giving manicures. I think I always will.
