1 min read
The London Borough of Islington last week warned that it will need an extra 47.5m to implement the Government's.

Building Schools for the Future scheme. The programme aims to moderniseevery school over the next 15 years.

YES: Ty Goddard, managing director, School Works

Building Schools for the Future is part of the largest investment inschools infrastructure that we have seen for generations. We should allbe ambitious for the level of transformation that we expect. However, itneeds time and resources allocated to full stakeholder involvement, innovation that is owned, and sharing of good practice. Above all, participation of residents is essential. If the involvement of users isright in regeneration and in social care then it's right for the designof our schools.
