In the latest issue of Southwark's youth magazine Whtvr, young mum Kathryn Stowell tells readers what it is like having a baby in your teens. Kathryn says she was incredibly lucky to have a supportive family and partner who stood by her all the way but admits life still hasn't been easy. "People judge you for being a young mum," she says. "The bottom line is you have to work twice as hard."
The debate about "endz" rears its head in Haringey's youth magazine Exposure. Young writer Suraj Rattu talks about the problems young people face when venturing outside their own postcode area. He believes they need to be given practical advice on how to stay safe when entering other postcodes. "'What endz are you from?' has become a common question asked by many young people," says Suraj. "But it's a dangerous thing to say and it has violent undertones."
