On the Ground: Down at My Club - Moston Youth Centre, Manchester

Nicole Kay, 14, Moston Youth Centre, Manchester.

The centre is really cool. It's open four days a week and I normally go about three days. I like the arts and crafts sessions where we get to paint and use glitter and glue to make things. We also have pool and hockey tables.

Upstairs you can play games like football and British bulldog. I enjoy doing everything.

There used to be a settee where you could hang out, but it got battered and was thrown out. But there are lots of places where you can chat with your mates.

In the summer we go to the local parks and the workers organise trips like paintballing. The workers are brilliant.
