I've been going to the centre for ages. I like the way there's always someone there who will listen to you - it's important.
I do lots of music technology work at the centre, volunteer on Thursday nights and run the younger members' disco. They find it easy to talk to me because I've been through similar things. When I first arrived, I benefited from speaking to people a bit older than me. They helped to point me in the right direction.
Since 2004, I've been involved in the centre's radio project, and now I'm one of the managers. I train the young people to use the equipment, and help them if they get stuck. I play guitar and have been able to use the facilities to make recordings. I'm also a presenter on our radio station, which broadcasts at half term.
