Nurseries: Independents are crucial to rollout

1 min read
The private and voluntary sector has played a vital role in enabling the Government to roll out free part-time nursery education for three-year-olds, according to new statistics.

The National Day Nurseries Association said the figures backed up its calls to ensure that private - and voluntary - sector providers are placed at the heart of nursery provision in Britain (Children Now, 26 May-1 June).
