News in brief: Review of court cases

The review of cases where courts have not yet made final care orders following the Angela Cannings judgment is so far "not causing huge problems" for local authorities, according to Andrew Cozens, president of the Association of Directors of Social Services. Councils were given four weeks from 26 February to identify and review current cases where courts have not yet made final care orders.
