Children's Fund partnerships should not be concerned over the lack of reference to the preventative programme in the Spending Review, according to a member of the Children's Fund stakeholder forum. Ian Vallender, director of policy and information for the National Council of Voluntary Childcare Organisations, said the fund was not "slipping down the agenda" and that ministers would make an announcement about allocations for 2005/6 in August.
