The Government has promised to re-examine two aspects of the Children Bill following lobbying from charities. Baroness Ashton told the Lords last week that it would consider making it clear that the provisions of the Bill referred to the children of servicemen living abroad. And it will also consider ways to make it more apparent that play was to be considered a duty of local authorities.
