News in Brief: Lords table amendments to Education Bill

Lords have tabled a string of amendments to the Education Bill, including one that proposes a duty on school inspectors to examine "the contribution by the school to working with the children's services authority and its relevant partners to improve the wellbeing of children". The Government opposes the change.
