Young People Now's New Pathways conference in October will provide all the latest information on opportunities available for 14- to 19-year-olds.

The Working Group on 14 to 19 reform, better known as just "Tomlinson", had its final meeting last week. When its final report comes out later in the autumn, headlines will probably focus on plans for new diplomas and new vocational pathways.

But it would be a mistake to believe that the impact of Tomlinson will be limited to schools. The reforms will also have wide-ranging implications for the informal education sector and for advisers from Connexions and careers services.
