Network to nurture young arts leaders

1 min read Youth Work
The English National Youth Arts Network (Enyan) is launching a campaign to raise the profile of youth arts in developing leadership skills.

The Young Arts Leaders campaign aims to support the youth arts sector by encouraging young people to raise their aspirations and showcase young people's potential in the arts and cultural industries. It also aims to show how the arts can nurture young people's development.

The move follows Enyan's previous campaign, which focused on creative youth consultation and participation.

The network will conduct research over the next four months into how the arts help young people, which will then be used to create downloadable guidance. This document will make the case for the arts as an effective mechanism for developing leadership skills, as well as encouraging young people to consider a career in the arts and cultural sector in the future.
