NCB Now: Talking about a travel transition

The transition from primary to secondary school is a time when pupils and parents will be establishing new routines and patterns of travel.

A new project from NCB, Talkin' Transitions, will work in partnership with schools to develop creative approaches to promoting sustainable travel for children making the transition from primary to secondary school.

NCB will be holding consultation workshops with pupils to find out what children think and how they feel about travel to school.

Baljinder Heer, from NCB wellbeing, said: "We need to talk to young people so we can find out what needs to change to ensure they can make healthy and sustainable travel choices.
