NCB Now: Check it before you wreck it

The Department of Health, supported by NCB, is developing the Teen Life Check, an online interactive health and well-being quiz to get young people thinking about their lifestyle. Advice and resources help to raise awareness and encourage them to make positive life changes on a range of health issues such as smoking, alcohol, diet and exercise.

A pilot website has been launched and was tested in four teenage health demonstration sites as part of the first phase of the project. NCB have recently been conferring with a range of young people aged 10-16 years through consultation events and an online questionnaire. The findings from these activities will feed into the development of the tool.
