Children in Wales has published a report, which considers support provided to families in rural areas.
Families not Areas Suffer Rural Disadvantage: Support for Rural Families in Wales is the result of research considering methods of service delivery that have proved to be especially effective in serving rural families. The research was carried out through a survey of key individuals and organisations that have a role in providing support for rural parents.
It provides an insight into what services are available and whether the needs of rural families are reflected in local authority planning.
