How can local authorities and partners ensure young children get the best start in life? What is required at a national level to meet the needs of the whole child?
These are just some of the questions that will form the basis of discussion at the forthcoming early years conference from Children in Scotland. Entitled Achieving the Best Start in Life: Learning from International Reviews, it will take place in September 2008. The conference will draw on international reviews, research and practice, as well as hear from authors and contributors to recent reports from Unicef and Children in Europe.
