NCB Now: New chair for sex education forum

The Sex Education Forum, which is based at NCB, is holding a reception on 15 June to welcome Ruth Lowbury from the Medical Foundation for AIDS and Sexual Health as its new chair.

Ruth takes over from Jo Adams who has been chair of the forum since 2000. She will be continuing the forum's work to ensure that all children and young people receive their entitlement to good quality sex and relationships education (SRE).

"As the forum's new chair I look forward to working with our members to campaign for statutory SRE in schools," said Ruth.

Priscilla Nkwenti from the Black Health Agency is the forum's new vice chair.
