NCB Now: Young take action on sex education

Young people working with the Sex Education Forum, based at NCB, have developed a youth advocacy page on their new look website.

The resource encourages young people to take action locally to improve their sex and relationships education (SRE). It provides examples of good practice and ideas about how young people can get involved in the development of SRE provision.

Young people's passion for quality SRE was also clear in a debate in Youth Parliament on SRE, in which young people voted in favour of compulsory SRE from primary age upwards, as well as during the Sex Education Forum's online discussion on 9 November.
