The programme will include progress reports on children's trusts and information sharing, with input from key personnel in local authorities.
Philippa Gitlin, chief executive of Family Service Units, will be discussing the role of the voluntary sector in delivering children's services, while NCB's research director, Ruth Sinclair, will look at building a culture of participation by involving children and young people.
The Planning for Children Network was established in 1998 to help NCB members increase their understanding and awareness of the plethora of plans for children's services.
- For further information, email conferences@ncb.org.uk or call Fiona Tyson on 020 7843 6040. All local authorities which are NCB members receive one delegate place free of charge.
