NCB Now: NCERCC to hold annual conference

Positive outcomes for young people in residential child care placements take place through daily routines and relationships, but the significance of these experiences can be overlooked.

The National Centre for Excellence in Residential Child Care (NCERCC), based at NCB, will hold its annual conference on 28 January in Leeds. The conference, Understanding Residential Child Care: Valuing the Effect and Effectiveness of Daily Living, will address the way in which the smallest aspects of care, such as eating, playing and reading, provide not only effective interventions but the foundations for other strategies such as school and therapies.
