The National Centre for Excellence in Residential Child Care (NCERCC) will host its annual conference on 28 January in Leeds.
Entitled Understanding Residential Child Care: Valuing the Effect and Effectiveness of Daily Living, it will examine the day-to-day realities, routines and relationships that make up the residential care experience. Young people tell us that these experiences frequently make the biggest and longest lasting differences in their lives, yet their significance may be overlooked. Drawing on this theme, speakers will offer insights of value to practitioners, policymakers, regulators and commissioners.
- The conference will take place on Thursday 28 January 2010 in the Leeds Marriott Hotel. For more information or to register, visit http://ncercc.eventbrite.com
