Families rate Clic Sargent support

A survey conducted by Clic Sargent has found 87 per cent of young people, parents and carers rate the charity's support highly. The charity contacted families who registered for its services in 2009 to hear about their needs and their experience of the services that Clic Sargent provides. More than 600 responses from across the UK were analysed, with 93 per cent of respondents rating their Clic Sargent support worker as "good" or "excellent".

Although each family's needs varied, more than nine out of 10 families said they required financial assistance and eight out of 10 needed support with benefits.

Dara de Burca, Clic Sargent director of services, said: "We value the feedback of young people we support and are delighted the responses to our survey reflect our commitment to providing the best professional care and support possible. We will carry out similar surveys annually, so we can monitor changing needs and develop our services appropriately."
