Inclusion is important at Barracudas day camps

Barracudas provides high-quality activity day camps for children aged four to 16 where they can try new activities, make new friends and, most importantly, have fun.

Inclusion is an important part of what Barracudas does and the organisation is especially proud of how it is able to meet the needs of all children. When Barracudas is contacted by a parent of a child with special needs, it aims to ascertain complete understanding of their needs and discuss the type of special care required for the child to fully enjoy their time at camp.

Simple adjustments are very often all that is required for some activities. However, parents are occasionally recommended to send a carer into the camp to assist with their child's personalised care. If one-to-one assistance is required, parents are offered help to navigate the local funding process and recruit the perfect carer for their child.
