A new publication, Leadership for Quality in Early Years and Playwork, supports existing and aspiring leaders to reflect on and develop a leadership style relevant to their own context.
Children make better progress in settings where there is strong leadership and improvement is more likely to happen where all staff are involved in the continuous quality improvement process.
The publication, which is now available, presents case studies and key theories of leadership with strategies to allow leaders and managers to implement and evaluate their setting's improvements to ensure effective leadership and better outcomes for children and their families.
