NCB Now: Mentoring course for early years

Through reflection, learning and action, managers and local authority officers supporting early years and play settings are now using mentoring skills as key ways to improve their practice.

A new one-day training course from NCB, Developing Mentoring Practice in Early Years and Playwork, explores the skills necessary to mentor successfully. The course aims to raise the quality of mentoring in the sector by helping participants to create an action plan to take their learning forwards.

Training dates are available in Birmingham and Manchester, with the first session taking place this month, in London on Tuesday 15 June. Places are limited, so book online now by visiting www.ncb.org.uk/training, email training@ncb.org.uk or telephone on 020 7843 6084.
