NCB Now: Highlight summaries are now available

NCB's library and information service has produced three new research summaries as part of its popular Highlight series.

Highlight 220 focuses on the Children Act 2004, explaining its genesisfrom the Victoria Climbie inquiry. It examines the relationship betweenthe new legislation, the Every Child Matters programme and the fivenational outcomes for children.

The other two new Highlights look at children with autistic spectrumdisorders and Gypsy and Traveller children.

Highlights provide a comprehensive summary of research or an expertguide to influential reports and legislation. The one-page documentsalso include extensive bibliographies.
