A summary on children's commissioners in the UK provides historical background to the emergence of children's champions around the world. It looks at the purpose and objectives of each of the UK's commissioners as well as considering their powers.
The second summary looks at bullying in schools, evaluating different methods of intervention and urging practitioners to co-ordinate activity at a national and international level.
- The summaries will be sent to all members with their 22 June copy of Children Now. Members can also download them from www.ncb.org.uk/members. Non-members can order copies from the library, price 2 each, by calling 020 7843 6008
