NCB's Early Childhood Unit (ECU) and Library and Information Service are consulting early-years professionals about how they receive information on issues relating to their work.
The Sure Start Unit at the DfES has funded NCB to examine how regularly professionals are updated with the latest information about early childcare and education, and to establish where they go to find the answers to specific questions. In particular, the study will look at the role of the internet.
ECU and the Library and Information Service are carrying out the survey to further improve their own methods of disseminating information to early-years professionals.
- To take part in the survey, complete the questionnaire at www.earlychildhood.org.uk/aboutus.htm. The deadline for submissions is Friday 26 March.
