NCB used funding from the Department for Education and Skills to set upthe network earlier this year to help childcare providers, localauthorities and organisations work together to promote high-qualityearly learning and childcare.
Sue Owen, director of the Early Childhood Unit based at NCB, said: "Thisproject is about improving children's experiences and meeting parents'aspirations. The conference will be celebrating all the good work thathas been done so far within the sector to improve standards in earlyyears settings and looking towards the future to how we can continuequality improvement."
Delegates will have the opportunity to consider best practice and learnmore about the role of the National Quality Improvement Network withinthe early years, childcare and play sectors. The network's publicationfocusing on the development of a set of quality improvement principleswill be launched at this event.
