Speaking at the national conference was really cool because everyone listened to my opinion - they actually cared and were interested in what I wanted to say. I think the training given to professionals working with young people will help a lot because they will be able to find out what young people in care actually think about what it is like to be in care.
I feel really proud for being involved with the project because people nationally will be watching the DVD with me on it. I know that what I said on the DVD was true and could help someone else. I enjoyed working on it, not just because we did loads of activities, but because I enjoy talking about my experiences of being in care and hopefully it can help someone in the future.
