
The project is part of the Children's Rights Alliance for England. Along with the rest of my team, I interviewed children and young people to find out if their rights are being respected. The UK government claims to do a lot to protect children's rights, but we found this wasn't always the case.
On 11 June, I helped present our findings to the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva, Switzerland. Travelling to Geneva was exciting and I enjoyed sharing my team's discoveries in a place as important as the UN. We told the committee about the lives of children living in different circumstances across England and that many children don't even know about the rights they have.
