Went to the park and then to my foster mum's for Sunday lunch. She's been really supportive and so has my real mum and sister. After settling my daughter Ellie, I read through the paperwork for the foster panel meeting tomorrow. Then it's bed before 10pm.
Monday - The panel is meeting in the afternoon. My role is to look at the foster carers' applications from the young person's point of view. I have to try to decide what the potential carers would actually be like to live with.
I feel very privileged to do this. It's a big responsibility and decisions we make will have a real impact. The carers discussed tonight were very positive about children. Go home with a good feeling they would give someone a really great home.
