NCB Now: Children & Society examines the ISA

Information Sharing and Assessment (ISA) may improve communication, but can data management reduce risk to children? This question is explored by Lisa Payne, NCB's principal policy officer, in the latest issue of the international journal Children & Society.

"The rationale for the system is sound, but it is important to recognise that ISA is a technical tool which cannot alone solve the type of failures highlighted in the Climbie inquiry," she commented.
