Writing in the current issue of the multi-disciplinary journal Children & Society, she offers a review of public health's recent history and summarises features of current legislation and policy. "Involving the private, public, voluntary and community sectors in public health will make it more effective and less contradictory,' said Alix Cordell. "We need to work together to deliver evidence based public health interventions which are targeted and relevant."
