Young people are at the heart of this project and are consulted regularly on how things should be run, designed and we think of new ideas for the project.
All my peers in the group became involved because we all believe that financial education should be taught in schools and should be taught well. We are a diverse group and are representative across the whole of England and work extremely well as a group with the help of Young NCB staff.
We have met with money experts such as Martin Lewis and even quizzed Ed Balls, former Children's Secretary, on financial education. We're young ambassadors for our regions and are working hard to introduce My Money Week to schools. We have acted as "agony aunts", answering young people's problems with money and we're putting together a campaign to highlight the importance of finance education in schools.
